What is the best way to call the US from Grand Cayman?

My husband and I are leaving for Grand Cayman soon and will need to call home to check on our kids. Do you have any idea what is the best and cheapest way to go about doing this? We both have AT&T service and iphones. THANKS SO MUCH FOR YOUR HELP!!!
